Renewing a vehicle inspection, known as a 'syn' in Denmark, involves taking the vehicle to an authorized testing center to ensure it meets safety and environmental standards. Once the inspection is passed, the vehicle is registered as approved in the national transport database.

Your timing

It is recommended to schedule an inspection well before the deadline indicated on the notification letter sent by the Danish authorities. Due to variation in local testing center availability, booking at least 2-4 weeks in advance is common practice to secure a preferred time slot.
