What Duratum is

A tool for keeping track of when your documents expire, and for understanding what each renewal involves. It is not a government service, not a law firm, and not affiliated with any authority.

Guidance is a starting point

Renewal guidance is researched from public and official sources and shown with the date it was checked and the sources used. Rules change, and they vary by consulate, emirate, state and city. Always confirm anything that matters with the authority named in the guide. We are not liable for a missed deadline, a rejected application or a fine.

Reminders

We send reminders on a best-effort basis. Email can be delayed, filtered or refused by your provider, so treat reminders as a helpful nudge rather than a guarantee.

Affiliate links

When a renewal involves a commercial contract — motor insurance, health cover, energy, broadband — we may show one comparison partner and earn a commission if you switch through that link. It costs you nothing. It does not change the guidance you're shown, and if your current deal is already good, keep it. Every such link is labelled where it appears.

Your list

Your documents live in your browser. If you turn on reminders, your email and the dates you're tracking are stored so we can send them. Delete a document and it's gone from this device; ask us and we'll remove your stored list entirely.
