Renewing a vehicle inspection in Türkiye involves scheduling an appointment with Tüvtürk, bringing the necessary vehicle and personal documents, and undergoing the inspection. If the vehicle passes, the inspection certificate is issued. If not, deficiencies must be corrected and a re-inspection performed.

Your timing

Vehicle inspections have specific validity periods depending on the vehicle type and age. It is advisable for vehicle owners to check their inspection expiry date and schedule an appointment a few weeks in advance of expiration. This allows buffer time for finding a suitable appointment slot, especially in busy periods, and for addressing any potential issues that might arise during the inspection, such as minor deficiencies requiring re-inspection.

This lead time is suggested to allow for scheduling an appointment at a convenient time and location, as waiting times can vary. It also provides a buffer in case any minor repairs or a re-inspection are needed.

The process
