Renewing a Czech passport involves submitting an application to a municipal authority or consulate. Applicants typically provide biometric data and surrender their old document upon the issuance of the new one.

Your timing

It is standard practice to begin the renewal process at least 30 to 60 days before travel or document expiration. This accounts for standard processing times, which vary depending on whether the applicant chooses an expedited or standard issuance path.

The process
