Renewing motor insurance in Cameroon involves purchasing a new policy or extending an existing one through an authorized insurance company. Coverage is mandatory for all vehicles and is verified by a valid insurance certificate and sticker (vignette) displayed on the vehicle.
It is standard practice to initiate the renewal process at least 15 to 30 days before the current policy expires to account for administrative processing and to ensure no lapse in legal coverage.

The process
- 1Contact a licensed insurance company or an accredited insurance broker to request a renewal quote.

- 4Collect the new insurance certificate and the valid insurance sticker.
- 5Affix the new insurance sticker to the vehicle's windshield in a clearly visible location.
